Artist Statement
Photographing architecture offers an infinite number of unexpected poetry in its stillness of lines, a quietness of an area, and the acceleration of capturing the form. Night photography allows me to bring an out the unexpected within the unexpected subject. Driving around for hours looking for the perfect location. The feeling of excitement when I know the image has been found. Imagining the place alive without any life around. Taking pictures of areas that can normally be over looked offers being able to put together the contrasting nature of the landscape.
